Web/XL is a real-time interface between the HP3000 and your NT Server or PCs. It opens new doors in flexibility for providing Ecometry\Escalate Retail information to your web pages. Our product was designed with performance in mind and the flexibility to create new information services.
You can license only the Web/XL middleware or license it with all the information services necesary for a complete ecommerce solution. We have developed www.tafford.com from the ground up using Web/XL technologies.
Web/XL consists of COM objects for an NT web server. These objects reside on the NT server and may be executed by Active Server Pages (ASP) and other languages. These COM objects interact with the Web/XL Listener programs running on the HP3000. This allows them to retrieve and post data with the Ecometry\Escalate Retail system. Only your web-server has direct access to your Ecometry\Escalate Retail system, keeping your valueable data protected.
