DATABASE ENCRYPTION

Our Database Encryption for the HP3000 turbo image database ensures that your sensitive data stays secure. Database calls are intercepted and your sensitive data is encrypted/decrypted as required. Key management is secure allowing you up to 12 keys to be in use simultaneously. Anyone accessing your data via suprtool, query, or other methods will only extract encrypted gibberish. We offer two methods to secure your database data. The first requires no changes to your programs and is transparent. The other is a programmers toolkit that allows your programmers to encrypt /decrypt the database via a call to our encryption library. Customized versions of our encryption product specific for your enterprise are also available.

FLAT FILE ENCRYPTION

Our flat file encryption allows you to encrypt or decrypt flat files in a batch or interactively. It even has the ability to encrypt just a portion of the data. Key management is very secure and allows for multiple people to hold a portion of the encryption key. Decrypting is very simple and secure. Most files on the HP3000 can be encrypted including spool files. Files can be encrypted/decrypted as a group via wild cards or done individually. There is virtually no limit to the number of encryption keys that can be in use at any given time.
