Fluent Edge is now providing credit card encryption and flat file encryption for Ecometry on MPE based HP3000's. CC Encrypt will keep your credit cards encrypted in your database. Our product is also available directly from Escalate Retail. We also have another product that will encrypt flat files. We are also offering additional encryption services for any other databases you may have with sensitive data. The information on these products are listed below:
Flat File Encryption
Our flat file encryption allows you to encrypt any file on your HP3000. This allows you to keep old TapeMacs files and credit card deposit files on your system and remain PCI compliant. Full key management is supported.
CC Encrypt
CC Encrypt encrypts all your credit card #'s
in the HP Ecometry\Escalate Retail database. This change is transparent to Ecometry
so you can still use the Ecometry\Escalate Retail screens to maintain credit
cards. Other tools such as Suprtool or Query will only read
garbage for the credit card #. Your auditors will be happy.
We also provide encryption on other HP3000 TurboImage
databases as well. Please call for details.

FAQ's
If I have Suprtool reports that include the credit card
# will they quit working?
-Yes, these reports will only report garbage for the credit card #.
You'll need to re-write these reports in Cobol.
Ecometry\Escalate Retail uses Suprtool in a lot of their reports, does
this cause a problem?
- No.
What type and level of encryption are you using?
- We use the industry standard 256 AES encryption.
Will it handle our retail credit card?
- It can with a slight modification.
Sometimes we put the credit card # in an order comment.
Will these get encypted too?
- No, just in cust-xref, order-actions, and added-data-2.
